- Summary: not reading mouse/keyboard
-
- I'm having some trouble getting X11R6 working on my A4000 with NetBSD 1.1.
- When I startx, X and the twm come up, and xload even appears to work. The
- problem is that I can't move the cursor or type anything.
-
- I suspected this might be a permissions problem, so I followed the relevent
- instructions carefully:
-
- /usr/local/X11R6/bin/
- lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel X->Xdaniver
- -rwsr-xr-x 1 root guest Xdaniver
- /dev/
- lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel mouse->mouse0
- crw-rw-rw- 1 root wheel mouse0
- crw-rw-rw- 1 root wheel mouse1
- crw-rw-rw- 1 root wheel grf[0-5]
-
- Any suggestions?
-
- I also get the following strange messages when booting:
-
- sbicgo: HELP! no bounce allocated for 5
-
- warning rdb->secpercyl(166) != rdb->nsectors(42) * rdb->nheads(4)
- lp->d.sparespercyl(2) not multiple of lp->d.ntracks(4)
-
- Should I do anything to fix these?
-
- Thanks!
